1Glasses that translate foreign language
NTT Docomo is a Japanese Company that created a pair of glasses which allow the wearer to read and translate foreign text in under five seconds. According to the carrier, the glasses employ character recognition technology and are primarily aimed at users who travel abroad. Upon looking at a foreign language text, the glasses display a translation overlay to help translate the text to the language of your choice. The person who wears them can also use these glasses to turn any flat surface into a touchscreen; manipulating a virtual image visible only to yourself (you would look a bit crazy for other people, but who cares). The creepy thing about these glasses is that they can also call up the contact details of anyone who is in view. So, stalkers treat yourselves.

Implants to Deliver Medication
A Joint Harvard University and University of Toronto teams were able to build several implants made of a hydrogel polymer that is compatible with living tissue. This way people who constantly take medications wouldn’t have to worry whether they forgot to take them or not. The implants, upon exposure to blue light, were able to simulate insulin protection through a synthetic protein. For now, this experiment was only tested to mice, so for now it is still not usable for humans. But, the future is near so this revolutionary solution will take place sooner than later.

It works by using a series of sensors embedded in the padding to measure the heart activity of the woman who is wearing it. As people are more likely to eat when stressed, the sensor would use heart rate, respiration rate, temperature and rate of movement to measure the stress level of the wearer. By recording several measurements a day, the bra can accurately tell the norm from the outlier and in turn help the wearer regulate stress eating.

Tattoo measures body temperature
A team of researchers from China, the USA and Singapore have developed an extremely thin electronic patch that sticks to the skin just like a temporary tattoo. But, this tattoo isn’t for body decoration. It has a higher purpose and it can actually measure the temperature of the person currently wearing it, as well as blood vessel dilation and constriction. It can also measure the health level of the heart, brain and other organs, and can also tell how big your risk is for getting diabetes. The not so fun part is is that the tattoo needs an external power source like a battery pack, although researchers are currently working to find a way to get rid of this thing.

Instead of selecting a time to be woken up at, you select a time frame (between 8:00am and 9:00am for e.g.). You then place the phone on your bed and go to sleeap. The app measures your sleep cycle, analyzing how well you rested and when you hit R.E.M. sleep.
